We have been watching Chinese car launches for years with genuine disbelief. Thousand-horsepower wagons. Sedans that rival Rolls-Royce. SUVs with 1,300 km of range. And none of it available in Slovakia. That gap felt like an obvious opportunity — and a personal frustration.

RaceIQ was founded in 2023 by Lukáš and Dalibor Malék — a father and son team who come at cars from completely different angles. Lukáš is 19, studying Automotive Engineering at Politecnico di Torino — one of Europe's most prestigious technical universities and the alma mater of engineers behind Ferrari, Fiat and Lamborghini. He is also an active motorsport racing driver and coach, running competitive driving events and driver development programmes alongside the import business. Dalibor brings the operational backbone — years of experience building businesses, importing and exporting vehicles across Central Europe, navigating EU registrations, customs, and logistics. Together, they cover everything from the passion to the paperwork.

What started as informal connections and a few test imports has grown into a structured operation. We source directly from suppliers in China, manage the full EU type approval and registration process in Slovakia, and handle everything in between. We are not a franchise. We are not tied to any single brand. We find the best cars, get them here legally, and look after our customers properly.

We operate with direct supplier connections in China — not through intermediaries. This gives us real-time visibility of market availability, emerging brands, new model launches and pricing — often long before they reach European awareness. It also means we can move quickly when the right car becomes available.

We are still young as a company — and deliberately so. We move fast, we are not tied to legacy dealership models, and we genuinely care about every car we bring here. This is not just a business. It is what we do because we love it.
